Tips for management of diabetes

  • Regular health checkups and endocrinologist consultation
  • Medication or insulin as advised
  • Regular physical activity of 30-45 minutes (no empty stomach physical activity in morning)
  • Small and frequent meals
  • No fasting or skipping of meals
  •  Self-Monitoring of blood sugars
  • Low fat and high fiber balance diet
  • Maintain ideal body weight
